Fr. Bill Grogan was ordained a priest in the Archdiocese of Philadelphia in May 1983 and has served as pastor at Holy Cross since 2013. Fr. Grogan grew up in Delaware County the first son among six siblings (one older sister, two younger brothers and two younger sisters). His younger brother, Jim, is a priest of the Diocese of Trenton, New Jersey.
In addition to the B.A. (Philosophy) and M.Div. degrees from Saint Charles Seminary, he holds the degree M.S. in Education from St. Joseph’s University; the Certificate of Advanced Studies in Religious Education from Boston College; and Ed.D. from Immaculata University. Fr. Grogan has served at St. Martin of Tours Parish, Philadelphia; St. Kevin Parish, Springfield; Cardinal Dougherty High School (Religion Department Chair); St. Pius X High School, Pottstown (Assistant Principal for Academic Affairs); Drexel University (Catholic Campus Minister); Archbishop John Carroll High School, Radnor (President); and All Saints Parish, Bridesburg, Philadelphia.
